About Hulk & Friends Junk Removal
Hey, I’m Daniel, the owner of Hulk and Friends Junk Removal. I was born and raised right here in Montgomery County. After high school, I wasn’t sure what direction life would take me. What I did know is that I loved helping people, and I wanted to build something I could be proud of.
At 20 years old, I took a leap and started this business. I didn’t come from money, and I didn’t have a big plan, just a trailer, determination, and the drive to do things the right way. From the start, I wanted Hulk and Friends to be different from the big corporations that only care about profit. My mission has always been to keep things genuine, honest, and community-focused.
Lessons from my father
A big part of who I am comes from my father. He was more than just a great contractor, he was a great father, husband, family man, and all-around good person. His customers loved him and always recommended him, not only because of the work he did, but because of who he was.
He passed down values that I carry with me every day:
- Always show up early (better than possibly being late)
- Have manners and treat people kindly
- Work hard and be smart
- Treat people the way you want to be treated
Those lessons shaped me, and they’re the foundation of how I run my business and how I try to live my life.
Building a Team
What started with just me and a trailer has grown into a small team of hardworking people who share the same values. We take pride in being reliable, respectful, and making the process as stress-free as possible for every customer.
Overcoming Challenges
A couple of years after starting the business, life threw me a curveball. I went through two major surgeries that could have forced me to stop everything.
But I refused to give up. I kept going because I wanted to keep helping my community, and because I wanted to create something I could be proud of for years to come.
Giving Back
One thing I’ve always believed in is giving back. Whenever possible, we donate usable items we haul away, furniture, clothing, household goods, so instead of going to waste, they can help someone else in need.
For me, junk removal isn’t just about cleaning out garages or hauling heavy stuff. It’s about making life easier for people, supporting the community, and carrying forward the values my father passed down to me.
